Welcome to the 2014 Beckman Scholars Program Application Process
You have been invited to submit an application for the 2014 Beckman Scholars Program. You will find all the information that you need to successfully submit your applications within the pages of this website. As you proceed, please keep in mind that all applications must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. (PT) on June 14, 2013.
This year's process will include submission of the following:
One ORIGINAL APPLICATION plus two (2) copies must be received by the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation no later than June 14, 2013.
An emailed, pdf version of the original hard copy to beckmanprograms@gmail.com
An application MUST ALSO be submitted online using the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation’s grant application system. This application consists of on-line data entry and the development of various documents to be uploaded into the grant application system.
In order for an application to be submitted, each section of the application must be completed. Applications that are not in compliance with proposal instructions will be rejected out of fairness to all applicants.
The following application elements are required (All forms and templates can be found on the Forms and Resources page):
- Application Cover Page (form required and signatures required)
- Institutional Data Sheet (form required)
- Faculty Mentor Summary Data Sheet (form required)
- A typewritten proposal, not to exceed (6) six typewritten pages
- For previous award recipients, a separate 2-page progress report detailing the merits of the program during the award period
- For previous award recipients, a completed Beckman Scholars Report Table (template required)
- Appendix with curriculum vitae for faculty mentors (Formatting required - see Formatting Instructions)
Institutional IRS Determination Letter (to be submitted with ORIGINAL application ONLY)
