Beckman Certified Kit Specialists

Beckman@Science maintains rigorous standards for selecting and utilizing trainers for the science kits. In order to be considered a Beckman Certified Kit Specialist, teachers must (1) attend the appropriate kit training class, (2) have taught the desired kit in their classroom a minimum of two times, and (3) shadow an experienced trainer.

We currently have 54 teachers that we consider “Beckman Certified Kit Specialists.” Although these trainers have met our rigorous standards, to monitor their success, an evaluation system was implemented for each of the classes presented. These evaluation focused on both the quality of the trainer and kit.
