Community Support and Participation:
The essential third factor for Success

In order for Beckman@Science to fulfill its promise, the Orange County community is encouraged to actively support and participate in our success. Civic and business Leaders, corporations, and private citizens should, as a community, invest their time and resources in this most worthwhile endeavor.

In return, the program will give back to the community by inspiring many young people to pursue careers in science and technology - two principal industries that will drive growth of our area's economy well into the next century! The synergy created by educators, parents, and others will not only ensure the program's success, but will also foster a community culture that truly values science. Making science an exciting and fundamental part of our elementary students' learning experience is a mission not only for teachers and parents, but for the entire Orange County community.

Corporations:
-Partner with a district or school.
-Contribute funds or other resources.
-Encourage employees to support science in elementary schools.

Science Professionals:
-Scientists, engineers and technical professionals can serve as resource for teachers in a school or in a classroom.

Parents:
-Help in the classroom when science is taught.
-Ask schools to provide quality science in the elementary classroom.
