Districts & Private Schools
The grant program continues to be a major force for strengthening science education in Orange County. Through the matching funds grants from Beckman@Science, districts provide much-needed teacher training and science materials. This money is designed to be used as "seed" money and to serve as a catalyst for continued growth in science. Currently fifteen Orange County school districts and six private schools take advantage of this grant.
The following districts/schools are participating in the Beckman@Science program and are receiving Beckman Grants to implement hands-on, inquiry based science programs in K-6 classrooms.
